“Sent Iniesta into early retirement” – Arsenal fans love what Mesut Ozil did to Andres Iniesta

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil set social media alight last week after producing some neat footwork to dance his way around Andres Iniesta.

The 29-year-old featured during Germany’s 1-1 draw with Spain in an international friendly ahead of the 2018 World Cup. Rodrigo’s goal was cancelled out by Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller on the night.

However, the highlight of the game came when Ozil was running with the ball down the touchline and the Barcelona star closed him down. Ozil delightfully feigned moving inside before cleverly working his way past the legendary midfielder.

The moment went down a storm with Arsenal fans who rushed to social media to share their thoughts.
