Liverpool Face Competition For 1.91m Tall Brazil International After Besiktas President Confirms Offer Will Be Made

Besiktas attacking midfielder on loan from Benfica has been closely linked with a summer exit.

Reports in Portugal and Turkey have linked Liverpool with the Brazil international.

Fanatik claim that the Reds want to sign the 24-year-old who is the teammate of fellow Liverpool ace Firmino for Brazil.

Per the source, Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Talisca and want him over the summer.

The Record meanwhile report that Wolves and Liverpool are both expressing a growing interest in Talisca.

The Premier League giants could face stiff competition from Besiktas.

Under normal circumstances, Liverpool would be able to offer better terms than the reigning Super Lig champions, however, the Istanbul giants have a buyout clause included in the loan deal.

Besiktas have until the end of the season to sign Talisca on a €21 million move.

Black Eagles club president Fikret Orman has confirmed his side will be making a move for the powerful attacking midfielder.

Orman said: “Talisca is our player, we will be making a move to keep him here beyond the end of the season.

“I can’t share much more right now but we will return to this before the end of the season.”

Talisca has been in great form this season and played a key role in Besiktas lifting the league title last term.

The Brazilian has scored 16 goals this campaign including four in the Champions League.

Besiktas and Liverpool could also face competition from Roma after sporting director Monchi confirmed interest.

“It’s obvious that I consider Talisca a strong player,” Monchi said.

“He’s an interesting and promising player, every sporting director in the world knows him and thinks he’s a good player.

“As things stand though we haven’t made a move for him.”
