Arsenal have entered the race for Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu according to the Daily Mail.
Per the source, the Gunners have held talks over a possible move for the Turkey international star.
Sven Mislintat, head of recruitment at Arsenal, is reported to be weighing up a move for the rising star.
Freiburg value their star centre-back as being worth £30 million.
Soyuncu has faced no shortage of interest with Liverpool, Chelsea, both Manchester club and Roma all expressing an interest over the past 12 months.
Roma sporting director Monchi recently confirmed interest in the 21-year-old.
Freiburg snapped Soyuncu up on a £2 million move in 2016 from the highly acclaimed Altinordu academy who also developed Roma starlet Cengiz Under.

The defender has one goal in 19 appearances for the German side this season playing 90 minutes in every game he has featured in except the defeat to Stuttgart as he was sent off.
Soyuncu also happens to be first-choice defender for Turkey and has 13 caps under his belt.
The official Bundesliga website named him as being one of the stars of tomorrow.
Soyuncu also made the official Bundesliga shortlist for ‘Rookie of the Season‘. The award goes to the best under-21 player of the season and is decided by a fans vote.
