Sam Allardyce is facing a selection crisis going into the weekend encounter.

Three of his star centre-backs are all ruled out with injuries (Holgate, Ashley Williams and Mangala) while key playmaker Gilfy Sigurdsson is also sidelined.

To make matters worse, defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye is a major doubt with a thigh injury.

Meanwhile, Cenk Tosun – who netted a brace in Everton’s last Premier League game is fit to start.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola will make a decision regarding Sergio Aguero’s fitness on the day. The experienced tactician will also have one eye on next week’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Liverpool.

Ilkay Gundogan is available for selection after featuring for Germany for their international friendly against Brazil on Tuesday.
