Liverpool’s Emre Can has decided to quote Zig Ziglar in a cringe-worthy social media post this morning.
The 24-year-old has been closely linked with a move away from the Merseyside based club after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
Can upset many Liverpool fans when he stated that he is looking to play for a “very big club” next season, during an interview with Suddeutsche Zeitung.
The Germany international followed up the interview by stating that he will no longer discuss his future with the press via a bizarre Instagram stories rant.
In another unorthodox move, Can has decided to share a photo of himself sitting on some stairs in a photo which is reminiscent of a 90’s pop album CD cover.
The 24-year-old also decided to include a quote from the famous American author, salesman, and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar all in capital letters.
“THERE IS NO ELEVATOR TO SUCCESS. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE STAIRS!”
