Manchester City star midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has taken to social media following his side’s comfortable win over Everton on Saturday.

The Citizens registered a 3-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park to put themselves within touching distance of the Premier League title.

Gundogan started yesterday’s fixture on the bench but came on in the 77th minute in place of Kevin De Bruyne.

Man City now face Liverpool during the week in the UEFA Champions League before taking on their bitter rivals Man United next weekend.

Gundogan shared a photo of his teammates celebrating on social media and included the following caption, “So important to start this big week on the right foot! We stay focused!”
