Andy Gray is no stranger to controversy and could not resist making a pun about Cenk Tosun after former Everton player John Collins gave his opinion on the striker.

Collins basically lambasted every recent transfer made by the Toffees with the exception of Tosun who he thought deserves a little more time – although he did sound pleased with his goal record.

Anyway, Gray responded to Collins comments on Tosun by saying: “Too Soon for Tosun”.

Classic Andy! and as puns go… awfully good.

Tosun was unable to add to his goal tally against City but didn’t receive good service.

The 26-year-old is set to star in his first Merseyside derby next as the Toffees welcome rivals Liverpool to Goodison Park on Saturday.
