Liverpool take on Manchester City at Anfield Stadium hoping to defend their 17 games unbeaten home run against the visitors heading into the Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie tonight.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could be without star player Emre Can.
Klopp has not completely ruled out the midfielder of Turkish of origin but did admit it does ‘not look too good’.
Can had to be taken off during the 5-0 win over Watford with a back problem, missed the Germany national team games against Spain and Brazil and the Crystal Palace game on the weekend.
Klopp will also be missing Joe Gomez, Ragnar Klaven, Ben Woodburn and Adam Lallana is a doubt.
“Emre will at least be very, very close for tomorrow,” Klopp told reporters.
“He has a session today with the rehab coach and we will see but it does not look too good.
“Joe Gomez is of course not involved, like Ragnar Klavan not involved, and Ben Woodburn.”
“Adam (Lallana) we have to see. It’s a hamstring injury. It could have been worse, but it’s bad enough of course.”
“That, of course, means he is not available for this game and for the next few weeks but there’s still a chance he could be back again this season.”

City boss Pep Guardiola meanwhile has John Stones returning from a concussion injury but left-back Fabian Delph is out.
Fellow midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan is available but will pick up an automatic one-match ban if he receives another booking as will Danilo, Fernandinho, Jordan Henderson and Alberto Moreno.
