Mesut Ozil has stated that he feels honoured that a family in India have decided to name their son after the World Cup winning playmaker.

Inzamam-Ul-Haq and his wife’ decided to name their son as Mehd Ozil.

However, Inzamam-Ul-Haq had considered naming his newly born son after Arsene Wenger before deciding upon the Germany playmaker.

After hearing the news over social media, Ozil issued a reaction to the sensational news.
