The 24-year-old shared his defensive masterclass highlights on Instagram for the 2-0 win on the road against Goztepe.

Omeruo made important interceptions, seven clearances and blocked three shots. His passing could have done with some improvement as he achieved just a 69 percent accuracy but it was overall another impressive display.

Omeruo also starred in the 1-0 away win over Bursaspor this weekend – one of the toughest away fixtures in the league calendar.
