Trabzonspor starlet Abdulkadir Omur has been closely linked with a summer exit after lighting up the Super Lig this season.
Despite being just 18-years-old, Omur is a first-team star for the Black Sea Storm.
Former Trabzonspor president Muharem Usta – who lost the election this week – revealed that a Premier League club sent club officials and held talks with the club over the transfer of Omur.
“A Premier League club sent over a club official to hold talks over Omur, we held negotiations in my Istanbul office,” he admitted.
Usta did not reveal which Premier League club he held talks with.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been scouting the Trabzonspor wonder kid.
Turkish-Football have reported both sides sending club officials to keep tabs on the rising star.
The rising star has another recently shone in the 4-0 win over Kayserispor scoring a stunning goal and providing an assist.

Emmanuel Adebayor played for both Arsenal and Tottenham in the past.
The powerful striker was recently asked which young players he rates highly in the league.
Adebayor singled out Omur, referring to the youngster as being the ‘Turkish Messi’.

Omur has been in great form for Trabzonspor this season scoring three goals and five assists in 24 games this season.
Emre Sarigul of Turkish-Football included Omur in the Guardian newspaper ‘Next Generation 2016: 60 of the best young talents in world football’ list last year.
