Euro Giants join race to sign £17m Tottenham star striker this summer

Tottenham star striker Vincent Janssen could be set for a permanent move to Istanbul this summer.

The Netherlands international is currently on a season-long loan at Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce. The 23-year-old has struggled with injuries following his move to the Yellow Canaries.

Janssen has been sidelined for the past four months due to a toe problem and has managed to score just three goals in all competition this season.

We recently reported that despite Janssen’s difficult season, Fenerbahce still want to resign the striker on loan at the end of the season.

However, Turkish outlet Fotomac have claimed that Besiktas are also interested in signing Janssen this summer.

Janssen joined Tottenham from Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar for £17 million back in 2016.

The Black Eagles have a history of pinching former Fenerbahce players in recent years with Gokhan Gonul and Jeremain Lens joining Besiktas in recent years.

Besiktas take on Akhisar Belediyespor in the Turkish Super Lig tomorrow evening. Meanwhile, Tottenham face Premier League leaders Manchester City.
