Swansea City star striker Wilfried Bony has been linked with a move away from the Wales-based club following a disappointing 12-months.

The Ivory Coast international is currently sidelined after suffering a knee ligament injury back in March.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce have been offered the opportunity to sign Bony this summer. Per the source, Bony is open to a move to Istanbul and that he is expected to be fit ahead of the new season.

However, Fenerbahce has turned down the chance to sign Bony due to the player’s injury problems.

Swansea City are currently involved in a relegation battle in the Premier League. The Swans sit in 17th spot with 33 points after 33 games and are five points above 18th placed Southampton.

Bony has managed to score just four goals in 20 appearances for Swansea City this season in all competitions.

Swansea are back in action this weekend when they take on Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
