Serie A champions Juventus are preparing alternatives for Liverpool star midifelder Emre Can.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a Merseyside exit after failing to pen a new deal with Liverpool. Can could even end up leading the club for free this summer.
According to the Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Juve have turned their attention towards Barcelona playmaker Andre Gomes and Sampdoria star Dennis Praet.
Per the source, Juve are beginning to doubt whether they will be able to sign Emre Can.

The news comes as a blow to Tottenham who are also interested in signing Barcelona’s Andre Gomez in the summer.
Emre Can is currently sidelined with a back injury he picked up last month and is at risk of missing the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old is likely to miss the Reds UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against AS Roma.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are back in action this weekend when they take on bottom of the table West Brom.
