Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco has revealed weaknesses within his side ahead of next week’s UEFA Champions League semi-final against Liverpool.
The Serie A giants secured their spot in the semi-final after pulling off a shock comeback victory over Barcelona. Liverpool also upset the odds by defeating Premier League champions Man City over two legs.
Roma registered a 2-1 victory over Genoa on Wednesday evening and take on SPAL in the Serie A tomorrow. The I Giallorossi sit in third spot, just one point above fifth-placed Inter Milan.
Di Francesco has admitted Liverpool could expose their wastefulness in front of goal when the two sides meet on Tuesday. The Italian tactician is also worried about his side losing possession in midfield.

“In life it’s better to have euphoria and excitement than depression,” Di Francesco was wuoted as saying by the Mirror.
“It’s up to us to prepare as well as possible for games like this.
“The errors we made are ones we’ve seen before this phase of the Champions League.
“Genoa came out more in the second half, but we still had several chances to kill the game off.
“We lost the ball in midfield and ended up conceding, which opened up the game again – sometimes we do ourselves harm. We could have killed the game earlier and we showed a bit of naivety. This is an issue we’ve had for some time.”
Turkey international Cengiz Under is expected to be rested this weekend for the Liverpool clash. Meanwhile, Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will miss the mid-week clash due to a back injury.
