Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil missed out on the Gunners clash with West Ham United on Sunday due to an illness.
It’s not the first time the Germany international has been sidelined by an illness, a fact which has not gone unnoticed by Arsenal fans.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently revealed that Ozil’s immune system ‘in trouble’ when the 29-year-old missed a game back in February.
“Ozil’s immune system is a bit in trouble at the moment and I don’t know why. I hope we can improve that medically,” Wenger told ESPN.
Following news of Ozil’s absence earlier today (Sunday), Arsenal fans took to social media to voice their thoughts on their star midfielder missing out yet again due to an illness.
Several fans are rather suspicious seeing that Ozil participated in training on Saturday and that he renewed his tattoo on Thursday.

This is the fifth time Ozil has been out with illness since the start of last season. Last time (in February) Wenger said "his immune system is a bit in trouble at the moment and I don't know why."
