Liverpool take on Roma in the Champions League semi-final first-leg at Anfield Stadium on Tuesday.
One Reds player who knows all about Roma is Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international spent two seasons at the Giallorossi but never got the chance to work with current Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco.
Di Francesco is not worried that he does not know Salah and feels the fact his players are familiar with him will give his side an advantage.
The Roma boss responded to a question in the Guardian asking whether he regrets missing out on the chance to coach Salah by saying: “I don’t need them to tell me,” he says with a smile when asked if he has sought out advice from his defenders on how best to frustrate Salah.
“His qualities are very clear. Don’t forget that I prepared games against him in Italy, too. But the fact lots of our players know him well, that can be an advantage.”

Salah has 41 goals and 28 assists in all competitions for the Reds this season.
Roma replaced the Egypt international with Cengiz Under who has been in fine form since breaking into the first team.
The 20-year-old has seven goals and two assists in all competitions since becoming a regular starter in February.
Under provided the assist that knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League in the last round.
Both Salah and Under are match fit and expected to start on Tuesday.
The Roma winger was rested against SPAL on Saturday after scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 win over Genoa on Wednesday.
The Liverpool match will be Roma’s third in six days.
