Liverpool will be hoping to take a step towards booking a place in the UEFA Champions League final when they host AS Roma tonight. The clash takes place at Anfield while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

Jurgen Klopp’s side pulled off one of the shocks of the season when they defeated Man City both home and away in the quarters.

Roma meanwhile eliminated La Liga giants Barcelona after pulling off a 3-0 comeback win at the Stadio Olimpico.

Germany international of Turkish descent Emre Can will miss tonight’s clash due to a back injury he picked up late last month. The 24-year-old could even end up missing the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile,  Turkey international Cengiz Under was rested over the weekend and could start for Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma side at Anfield.

Liverpool comes into the game following a 2-2 draw with West Brom while Rome defeated SPAL by a 3-0 scoreline.
