Liverpool host AS Roma at Anfield tonight in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie.
The Reds come into tonight’s clash following back-to-back wins over Manchester City in the quarter-final. Roma meanwhile eliminated La Liga giants Barcelona from the competition.
Germany international of Turkish descent Emre Can is sidelined for tonight’s encounter after suffering a back injury last month. Can has been closely linked with a summer exit after his contract with the Reds expires.
Meanwhile, Turkey international Cengiz Under does feature tonight. The 20-year-old was rested over the weekend but starts for Eusebio Di Francesco’s Roma side at Anfield. Under starts in place of Czech Republic international Patrik Schick.
Liverpool boss has stuck with his tried and tested front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
