Liverpool crushed Roma 5-0 in the Champions League semi-final first-leg tie at Anfield Stadium on Tuesday.
Mohamed Salah was the star of the show scoring a brace against and providing two assists against his former side.
One player who missed the game was Emre Can.
The midfielder of Turkish origin has been out with a back problem.
The 24-year-old has just a few months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign a new deal.
Can will be a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a new deal.

The big question on the mind of many Liverpool fans is why Can would want to leave this team?
Wonder if Emre Can’s jarg back injury will heal enough to make the final, should we get there.
I doubt it.— Filho Da Puta (@BecOfTheKop) April 24, 2018
Emre Can you sure you don’t wanna extend that contract mate?

I’m really worried about Emre Can
He is being lead astray
Someone must be poisoning his mind
There is no way any sane human could want to leave this Liverpool team pic.twitter.com/bD0JCvanj8— Turkish Football (@Turkish_Futbol1) April 24, 2018
Wish Emre Can would grow a pair

Emre Can is crazy if he wants to leave. This team is something special, plus we have Keita coming in soon

Is the Juventus move happening?
Has Emre Can already moved to Juventus because I haven’t heard or seen anything about him in weeks.

Will he be back?
According to Klopp he might be back before season ends so hope so

Any chance of Emre Can rising from the dead to make an appearance for us this season?
— Tuaha Sohail (@TuahaSohail) April 24, 2018
Liverpool would probably be better with him in the squad.
If they can retain Salah (likely) and Emre Can (less likely), and with the incoming brilliance of Naby Keita to replace Milner in the starting XI, this #LFC team is better placed to compete with Man City next year than Man United. #LIVROM
