Liverpool FC To Send Scout For 19-Goal Brazil International In Istanbul Derby

Besiktas are expecting several scouts to attend the derby clash against Galatasaray at the Turk Telekom Arena on Sunday.

A source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football that, Liverpool, CSKA, Wolves and Marseille will be keeping tabs on Anderson Talisca.

Additionally, scouts from Newcastle and Everton are also likely to attend the derby clash.

Talisca has been in great form for the Black Eagles this season scoring 19 goals and providing five assists in all competitions.

A delegation from the Brazil national team is also expected to monitor the 24-year-old.

The 1.91m tall attacking midfielder has played a key role in the Istanbul giants title challenge.

Talisca also starred in last seasons side that lifted the league title.

Despite spending the past two seasons at Besiktas, the Brazil star is still contracted to Benfica.

Talisca is into his second season on loan with the reigning champions.

The source revealed that Besiktas want Talisca on a permanent deal but are growing worried with an increased interest from across Europe.

The player’s agent has been using interest from Liverpool, Wolves and CSKA as a bargaining chip in negotiations over his contract to get his client a better deal.

Besiktas have the option to sign Talisca for €21 million but the clause will expire at the end of the season.

Galatasaray are currently first in the Super Lig but Besiktas are just one point behind.

The derby will be played on Sunday 29 April at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Just three points separate the top four in the Super Lig with just four games remaining.
