Arsene Wenger will step down at the end of the season after 22 years at the helm.
Wenger has the chance to leave with another trophy added to the Arsenal trophy cabinet.
It would also guarantee the Gunners Champions League football next season.
Mesut Ozil was a doubt heading into the game but will start.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has four goals and one assist in eight appearances against Atleti in all competitions – but all goals and assists were for Real Madrid.

Lacazette starts up front and Jack Wilshere returns to the starting lineup.
David Ospina keeps his place in goal as he has done in cup competitions.
Diego Costa was expected to start after returning to training for Atleti after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Costa has not however, made the starting lineup and will be on the bench. Atleti star Antoine Griezmann will however, start.
