Former Galatasaray and Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski took to social media following the Lions’ 2-0 win over Besiktas on Sunday.

The Istanbul Giants maintained their lead at the top of the table after picking up a crucial three-points.

Following the final whistle, Podolski took to twitter to share the following video which included the caption, “Me after the derby.”

The tweet was a huge hit among Galatasaray fans and was picked up by the clubs official Twitter account too.

Podolksi remains as a firm fan favourite among Gala supporters after spending three years with the Istanbul giants.

The former Germany international currently plays for Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
