Cenk Tosun – Everton

Cenk has not had the best of service of late. The Turkey international had just one big goal scoring opportunity created for him in the four games heading into the Huddersfield clash. With chances few and far between the star striker has no option but to be clinical. And that is what he was on Saturday. Tosun Pasa finished in style with a lovely right-footed shot into the bottom corner giving the opposition keeper no chance.

The 26-year-old has now scored four goals on the road for the Toffees, the joint highest for his side. Everton have won just two away games in 2018, Cenk has scored in both of them.

The powerful striker has managed to score five goals from just eight shots on target. Scoring twice with his head, twice with his right foot and once with his left.

Cenk has taken just 17 shots in 12 Premier League games, with eight finding the target giving him a 47 percent accuracy. Compare that to the league’s leading scorer Mohamed Salah, who has an accuracy of 46% and it begins to look mighty impressive.

Hakan Calhanoglu – AC Milan

The playmaker maestro managed to score and provide an assist as AC Milan recorded a 2-1 away win over Bologna on Sunday. The 24-year-old was rightfully awarded Man of the Match, taking his season tally up to six goals and eight assists.

Emre Colak – Deportivo

Emre Colak scoring against Barcelona is not something you hear every day but that is exactly what he did on Sunday. Unfortunately, Barca still ended up winning 4-2 which resulted in Deportivo getting relegated.

Ilkay Gundogan – Manchester City

Manchester City may have won the league title but they are not going on an early summer holiday. The Citizens have scored nine goals since being crowned champions and show no signs of letting up. Ilkay Gundogan started. His passing was as we have come to expect; superb. Otherwise, it was not a standout display but it did not have to be as his side won 4-1.
