Turkish League Previews 32: Just Four Points Separate The Top 4

Four points is all that separates the top four heading into the 32nd round of Turkish Super Lig.

Our current record for picks stands at 78 wins 60 loss.

Basaksehir vs Sivasspor

Three games remain. Basaksehir trail leaders Galatasaray by just a single point. The Istanbul minnows have won their last two games scoring seven goals in the process. Sivasspor have actually won their past two games but can they stop the well-oiled machine that is Abdullah Avci’s Basaksehir side. I’m not so sure!

Prediction: Basaksehir Win

Karabukspor vs Konyaspor

Karabukspor have been hopeless. The already relegated side are on a ridiculous losing streak. Meanwhile, Konyaspor could really do with a win. It could mean the difference between staying in the top-flight and second-tier football next season.

Prediction: Konyaspor -0 (Draw No Bet)

Trabzonspor vs Kasimpasa

All Trabzonspor have left to play for is a top-five finish. The Black Sea Storm do have three players who are hoping for a move abroad. Yusuf Yazici, Abdulkadir Omur and Okay Yokuslu have been scouted throughout the season. They have an incentive to keep proving themselves. On the other hand Kasimpasa look like they are already on their summer holiday.

Prediction: Trabzonspor Win

Alanyaspor vs Osmanlispor

Way too unpredictable. Literally, anything could happen in this relegation scrap.

Fenerbahce vs Bursaspor

If Fenerbahce hope to lift the league title they are going to have to win their final three games and hope leaders Galatasaray as well as second-placed Basaksehir drop points. The Yellow Canaries are in good form and have won their last five games. This is probably the toughest of Aykut Kocaman’s last three games in charge. There could be a few more twists yet in the title race. Both sides have been free-scoring of late and I expect that trend to continue.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals

Genclerbirligi vs Antalyaspor

Avoid!

Akhisarspor vs Galatasaray

Galatasaray are first but their away form has been suspect. This is a potential banana skin for the visitors. I do not see the Lions losing but a draw? perhaps!

Prediction: Galatasaray Draw No Bet

Goztepe vs Malatyaspor

Nobody expected Goztepe to finish in the top-five after ensuring promotion to the Super Lig last season. The Izmir based side are playing for pride and always draw a great crowd. Malatyaspor meanwhile have nothing much to play for. And one thing you should never do is back a Super Lig side with nothing to play for.

Prediction: Goztepe Win

Besiktas vs Kayserispor

Besiktas have had a tumultuous week. Defending the league title looks unlikely after losing the Istanbul derby against Galatasaray but second spot is up for grabs. Everybody seems to have written the Black Eagles off. That could be a big mistake.

Prediction: Besiktas Win
