Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan was one of a trio of Premier League footballers who turned up to welcome president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to England.
Gundogan was joined by Everton striker Cenk Tosun and Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil, who also happen to all be of Turkish heritage and citizenship.
As you would expect from a formal gathering involving heads of state most of the guests at the meeting were dressed in smart business attire, wearing suits and shoes.
Not Gundogan however!
The midfielder of Turkish origin stood out with his bright white trainers.
Was he rebelling against authority? or simply matching his white top with white footwear.
Either way I was personally more impressed with his moustache!
