Besiktas major transfer boost as Nuri Sahin signals Dortmund exit

Besiktas has received a major transfer boost in their hunt to sign Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund.

According to the German outlet Bild, Sahin has taken the decision to leave his boyhood club this summer.

The 29-year-old has three assists and two goals to his name after 18 Bundesliga appearances this season.

The Black Eagles are eager to revamp their squad this summer after a turbulent season. Besiktas enjoyed a positive start to the term with success in the UEFA Champions League group stage. However, Senol Gunes’ side have struggled to maintain form since the sale of Cenk Tosun in January.
