Reigning Turkish Super Lig champions Besiktas have pulled out of the race to sign Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
The Black Eagles are keen to revamp their squad this summer following a turbulent season and were linked with a move for the Netherlands international.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotospor, Besiktas were prepared to offer £4 million for Jansen however, Tottenham turned down the offer despite being unable to find another buyer.

Janssen joined the north London based club for £17 million back in 2016. Per the source, Besiktas have subsequently ruled themselves out of the race to sign the 23-year-old striker this summer.
The Netherlands international scored during Fenerbahce’s 7-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Karabukspor on Monday evening. Janssen has struggled with injuries this season has netted just four goals in 15 Turkish Super Lig appearances this season.
Tottenham ended the Premier League season in third spot following a 5-4 win over Leicester City on Sunday. Meanwhile, Besiktas take on Sivasspor in their final game of the season this weekend.
