Galatasaray star winger Garry Rodrigues has been frequently linked with a summer move away from the Istanbul giants in recent weeks.
The Cape Verde international has been in exceptional form for Galatasaray this season and was the star of the show during the Lions 2-0 win over Yeni Malatyaspor on Saturday evening.
Rodrigues provided an assist for Galatasaray’s opening goal in the game’s first minute and scored shortly after.
Galatasaray vice-president Ali Araboglu confirmed the interest in Rodrigues and that several clubs sent scouts to watch him over the weekend. Araboglu went onto state that the Istanbul Giants have set a €30 million price tag on the 27-year-old.
“Yes, we are aware of several clubs keeping tabs on him [Rodrigues],” Araboglu told Ajansspor.
“We know five clubs sent scouts to monitor him last weekend. Following his recent form, we value him at €30m.”
Premier League duo Newcastle United and West Ham have been closely linked with a move for Rodrigues in recent weeks.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, The Hammers sent scouts to watch Rodrigues during Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Akhisar earlier this month.
