Emre Can Liverpool Juventus

Reports in Italy continue to claim that Emre Can will be joining Juventus after the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Tuttosport became the latest paper to report on the impending transfer.

The Italian sports publication printed on their front page that Can’s move to the Serie A is ’99 percent’ done.

The midfielder of Turkish origin will be a free agent unless he signs a new deal with Liverpool.

As things stan Can will be leaving on a free transfer as he has yet to sign an extension.

Despite reports that the 24-year-old will be leaving, Jurgen Klopp included him in the squad that traveled to Marbella, Spain for the training camp ahead of the final.

Can has not played since the 5-0 victory over Watford before the international break after picking up a back injury.

The midfielder was expected to miss the final due to injury after not being called up to the Germany national team squad for the World Cup.

It now turns out Can could in fact return in time for the final, which could be his last game for the Reds if Klopp gives him playing time.

Juventus meanwhile have lifted the Serie A title for the seven successive seasons.

Liverpool could still manage to keep Can on if he extends his deal.

Can moved to Anfield in 2014 from Leverkusen for a £9.75m transfer fee. The midfielder made 166 appearances for the Reds, scoring 14 times for the club.
