Liverpool News: Gunes Drops Transfer Bombshell Hinting Brazilian Forwards Next Club

Anderson Talisca scored and providing three assists for Besiktas in the 5-1 victory over Sivasspor on Saturday.

The victory marked the end of the season and the Brazilian’s last match as a Besiktas player.

Black Eagles manager Senol Gunes revealed that the 23-year-old had already agreed terms with another club in January.

Gunes dropped a hint regarding Talisca’sĀ future.

The 1.91m tall forward ‘might’ be rivals with Cenk Tosun next season.

Everton are rivals with Liverpool and Turkish-Football has reported the Reds scouting Talisca throughout the season.

The Reds sent scouts to keep tabs on the Brazilian several times over the course of the campaign.

“Talisca was already gone at the winter break,” Gunes said after the Sivasspor game.

“I’m sorry that he won’t be with us any longer. I wish he could stay for his sake and ours. He already had a deal in place.”

“He might be rivals with Cenk Tosun.”

If Liverpool have already sealed the deal for Talisca, he will be joined by Naby Keita.

It is worth pointing out that Talisca has also been linked with Manchester United and Wolves but neither are rivals of Everton.

Talisca ended the season scoring 20 times and providing eight assists in all competitions.

The 24-year-old played an important role in Besiktas lifting the league title last season and helped his side finish the 2017-18 Champions League group stage as undefeated leaders.

The powerful forward finished the season as the Eagles top goalscorer despite not playing as his sides striker.

Talisca was not called up for the Brazil national team World Cup squad.
