Anderson Talisca spent two seasons on loan at Besiktas from Benfica but his time in Turkey looks to be coming to an end.
Black Eagles manager Senol Gunes revealed that the 5-1 victory over Sivasspor will be Talisca’s last game.
He wrapped up his term in style, scoring and providing three assists taking his season tally to 20 goals and eight assists.
Gunes did not stop there, he also made a few comments about Talisca’s potential next club which were mistranslated.
Several outlets claimed that the manager said Talisca will be joining a club that is rivals with Everton.
The earliest translated source we could find was in Goal.
This is what was written: “Talisca was already gone at the winter break,”
“I’m sorry that he won’t be with us any longer. I wish he could stay for his sake and ours. He already had a deal in place.
“He might be rivals with Cenk Tosun.”

This was interpreted as a hint towards Liverpool.
What Gunes actually said is that Talisca will be joining a side that play as an opponent to Everton.
“Talisca was already gone at the winter break, I can’t tell you which club he joined but they could play against Cenk’s team,” Gunes said.
What the manager said it that Talisca has already agreed terms with a club and the actual hint was that he will play for a Premier League side – a team that will play against Everton.
It looks like Talisca will be moving to the Premier League.
Turkish-Football have reported Manchester United as scouting Talisca throughout the season.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola meanwhile claim that the Red Devils have made a £35 million offer for the Brazilian forward and that he is keen on the move.
Talisca does not actually have a work permit to play in the Premier League, something that has presented previous moves but his transfer fee and wages could help him get permission to star in England.
The 24-year-old would have to go through the FA’s Exceptions Panel and try to qualify for a place.
