Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final, but Cengiz Under claims Roma would be in Kiev if not for the semi-final referee.
The Turkey international claims refereeing decisions robbed the Serie A outfit of a place in the final.
The Reds knocked Roma out 7-6 on aggregate, beating the Italian giants 5-2 at Anfield before losing 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma sporting director Monchi called for VAR to be introduced in the Champions League after the second leg which saw two penalty claims dismissed, while president James Pallotta described the refereeing decisions as being “embarrassing” and “an absolute joke”.
In an interview with beIN Sports Turkey, Under claimed the referee robbed Roma of the chance of playing in the final.
