“I had a great season,“ Soyuncu was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football said when asked about reports linking him with a move to the Arsenal.
“We are thinking about taking that next step up.
“I told my agent and my club that I want to hold talks about my future after the international break.
“The talks will be held after the national team games.”
The rising star is a first-choice defender for Turkey despite his age and has 13 international caps for the national side.
The 1.87m tall defender scored once in 30 appearances for Freiburg this campaign.
