Benfica star Anderson Talisca was closely linked with a move to Serie A outfit Roma today.
Turkish football newspaper Fanatik reported that Talisca told his team-mates that he will join Roma.
“I have agreed terms with Roma. I spent two amazing seasons in Turkey but it is time for my next chapter,” Talisca reportedly said to his teammates.
“I think will continue in Italy.”
These claims were rubbished by Roma sporting director Monchi who told Ajansspor that they aren’t even interested in the Brazilian.
Monchi said: “We are not interested in him, these reports have no basis in reality.”

The latest development will come as a boost to the Premier League sides linked with a move for Talisca.
Asked which country he dreams of playing in, Talisca told Correio da Bahia: “England. For the fans, for being a theatre, a show, all games are a spectacle and I like it.”
Talisca was also asked about reports linking him to Manchester United and Liverpool which he appeared to confirm.
He said: “The interest exists, it exists, but there is nothing certain.
“I haven’t agreed anything yet. It’s just speculation. These things of negotiations I can’t speak.”
Portuguese publication A Jogo claim United are prepared to offer £35m (€40m) for the Brazilian.

The 24-year-old found the back of the net four times in the Champions League and has been involved in 51 games since joining Besiktas.
