Freiburg star Caglar Soyuncu has been closely linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Turkey international added to the transfer speculation with his latest comments.
Soyuncu said: “One of the biggest clubs in England, Arsenal are interested but it is not a done deal yet.
“I am going to play the international games first and then we will make a decision, I will hold further talks afterwards.”

The 22-year-old is expected to hold talks with Arsenal after the international break.
Soyuncu is likely to start tonight in the Fatih Terim stadium against Iran.
Generally, Arsenal fans appear pretty excited about the prospect of Soyuncu joining the Gunners.
Atm we are lacking in CB imo. One who cn really dominate the position and step up esp during important matches. Maybe new management see somethin different with this player.

Dont have CBs like that if he is as good as been reported. Neither Chambers or Holding have shown they are Arsenal level.

Per gone, Kos getting on/injured, Mustafi inconsistent. We need new blood/competition for places.

He must have massive potential if Mislintat is pushing this hard for him and City and Utd want him. Sven is obviously well aware of the other young players there, yet still wants this kid. Says a lot.

Is he secretly a Quidditch team player?

The uniting power of football. There could be a Greek, Turkish partnership in defence next season.
Sokratis is used to it, Omer Toprak is his current partner.
Would be an interesting dynamic having a Greek and a Turkish defender lining up together!

Could this mean something?
This is Mustafa Doğru, Soyuncu’s agent. Could this mean something?
