Arsenal’s newly appointed manager Unai Emery is reportedly worried about star playmaker Mesut Ozil’s commitment levels.
According to the Spanish journalist Kike Marin, Emery has his reservations regarding Arsenal’s highest paid star.
Ozil put pen-to-paper on a mega-money contract earlier this year worth around £350,000-a-week. The 29-year-old is tied to the club until 2021.
However, Marin took to social media to state that Ozil will pose a challenge for the former PSG manager.

“Ozil, which in the absence of offers in February renewed with the #Arsenal until 2021, is the player that most worries Emery,” Marin tweeted.
“No one doubts his talent, but his commitment to a team that will require maximum involvement. Quite a challenge for Unai.”
Ozil made the move to Arsenal from Real Madrid for £42.5 million back in 2013. The 29-year-old was closely linked with a Gunners exit prior to penning a new contract.
Arsenal finished the season in sixth place which means they will miss out on UEFA Champions League football next season.
Ozil has been included in Joachim Low’s Germany national team squad which will participate in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Germany take on Austria in a warmup friendly tomorrow evening.
