Arsenal star in talks with Euro Giants over summer move – spent last six seasons out on loan

Arsenal forward Joel Campbell appears to be nearing a move to the Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

According to a report from the Peruvian outlet Depor.com, the Lions have been in talks with Campbell’s representatives in recent weeks. Per the source, Galatasaray will table an official transfer offer in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Fanatik recently claimed that Gala boss Fatih Terim has identified Campbell as one of his top transfer target this summer.

Campbell has however been linked with a move to Galatasaray for the past three years. The 25-year-old has spent the last six season out on loan at Betis, Sporting Lisbon, Villarreal, Olympiacos and Lorient.

Arsenal may opt to sell the Costa Rica international this summer with just a year remaining on his contract.

Campbell joined Arsenal from Costa Rican side Saprissa back in 2011. The 25-year-old has made just 23 appearances for the Gunners in over six years at the club.
