Galatasaray have made no secret they are interested in strengthening their defence ahead of the Champions League.

A Spor claim that Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has been targeted as a transfer target.

Per the source, Fatih Terim discussed Koscielny with former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger at a recent meal they had together in Bodrum, Turkey.

Now Turkish-Football have a source who was at the gathering and we were informed of Joel Campbell and Jack Wilshere being discussed but not Koscielny.

Anyway, it is an odd rumor considering Koscielny is recovering from surgery he underwent on his Achilles tendon last month.

At the time of surgery, Wenger claimed it would be six-months before he returns making the likelihood of Galatasaray making an offer unlikely.

Anyway the report claims the Lions are interested in a loan deal.

The Istanbul giants lifted the league title this season and will compete in the Champions League.
