Fenerbahçe manager Ismail Kartal believes the home fans will give his side a key advantage against Galatasaray in the Intercontinental derby.
“We want to win three points and take an important step towards winning the title, our fans are going to be a huge advantage for us,” Kartal told Lig Tv.

The Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium is expected to be at full capacity by game time.
Fenerbahçe have struggled to fill the stands this season as fans have been protesting the controversial Passolig e-ticketing system.
“It has been a long time since we have had a full stadium, Passolig has really hurt us in terms of attendance this season so it is great to see the stands full again for the derby,” Kartal said.
The Canaries have a great home record against Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe have not lost against the Lions at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium since 1999.
Fenerbahçe lost for the first time in 33 games against Akhisar two weeks ago.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Süper Lig on 51 points and will move seven points clear with a win against Fenerbahçe.
