Liverpool are set to face serious competition in the race to sign in-demand Turkey international Yunus Malli this summer.

Turkish-Football recently revealed that Liverpool scouts were positively impressed by Malli’s performance during Turkey’s 1-1 draw with Russia earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Fotomac has claimed that Galatasaray are also interested in signing the 26-year-old.

Per the source, Lions boss Fatih Terim wants to replace Younes Belhanda with Wolfsburg’s star Malli.

Fotomac go onto state that Galatasaray has set aside €7 million for the Bundesliga star.

Liverpool are also looking to bolster their attacking lineup this summer. Jurgen Klopp’s side were recently linked with a move for Lyon star Nabil Fekir.

The Reds have been busy in the transfer market this summer having already signed Fabinho from Monaco and Naby Keita from Rb Leipzig.

Malli played an instrumental role in keeping Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga this season. The versatile forward has provided four assists and scored five goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances this summer.
