Matt Hummels criticised Germany fans who have been booing Ilkay Gundogan and Mesut Ozil.
Gundogan was whistled for his second successive game for Germany when he came on as a substitute against Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Hummels urged fans to stop attacking the duo as it hurts team moral.
