West Brom table €12m bid for Brazilian star, Wolves also preparing offer

West Brom have once again been linked with a move for Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza.

According to the Turkish TV channel A Spor, the Baggies have reignited their hopes of signing the Brazilian midfielder as they look to build a team which will return to the Premier League.

Per the source, West Brom have tabled a €12 million bid for the 29-year-old. A Spor go onto state that Fenerbahce’s newly appointed Director of Football Damien Comolli will make the final decision regarding the Brazilian midfielder’s future.

Josef de Souza has been linked with a move to West Brom for the past 12 months.

Meanwhile, according to the Turkish newspaper Takvim, newly promoted side Wolves have also been preparing a €12 million bid De Souza.

Fenerbahce may opt to sell their Brazilian star this summer as his current contract expires in 12 months.

De Souza provided two assists and scored four goals in 41 appearances for Fenerbahce this season. The Yellow Canaries will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing the Turkish Super Lig in second place.
