Everton striker Cenk Tosun revealed that moving to the Premier League fulfilled his father’s dream.
The Turkey international revealed that his father Senol dreamt of playing for England.
Tosun’s father had to give up football to provide for his family but the star striker believes he has now achieved an important goal.
“Nobody would have thought I’d make it this far,” Tosun told Sabah.
“Playing in the biggest league in the world is a huge honor.
“My dad had dreams of playing in England, he had to give up football to provide for us so this move [to the Premier League] was also for him.
“I had a great time at Besiktas, won trophies, broke records and made them money, this makes me happy.”

The striker who recently celebrated his 27th birthday said his next goal is to really make a name for himself in the Premier League.
“I had half a season in the Premier League but I am not here for the short-haul,” Tosun said.
“I want to make a name for myself, I want to prove myself in England.”
Tosun scored five times for the Toffees since arriving in January.
In total the striker netted 19 times in all competitions, including four goals and two assists in the Champions League for Besiktas.
Tosun scored three times in his last two games for Turkey over the international break, a brace against Iran and a goal against Tunisia.
The Toffees star is currently on holiday with his wife before returning to Everton for pre-season training.
