Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has returned to first team training ahead of Germany’s World Cup opener against Mexico.
The 29-year-old was a slight doubt going into the competition after picking up a knee injury during Germany’s defeat to Austria.
Ozil also missed the tail end of Arsenal’s season with a back injury.
The 2018 World Cup kicks-off tonight while Germany’s clash with Mexico takes place on Sunday at 16:00 (GMT).
Ozil shared a photo of himself participating in training and included the following caption, “Back with the team Just in time for our first training session in Russia.”
