Everton recieve major transfer boost, Croatia international keen on Premier League move

Everton have received a major boost in their pursuit of Besiktas star centre-back Domagoj Vida.

We recently reported that the Merseyside based club have enquired about the availability of the Croatia international.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Fotospor claim Vida is keen on a move to the Premier League this summer despite joining Besiktas just six months ago.

The powerful defender has struggled since his move to Besiktas in January and made a major error during the Black Eagles Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.

Besiktas have already sold Dusko Tosic to China for €4.5 million and are open to dropping Vida from their wage bill too.

The 29-year-old earns €3 million per season at Besiktas who will need to reduce their wage bill after missing out on Champions League next season.

Vida has been included in the Croatia national team squad which is preset at the 2018 World Cup. The centre-back netted one goal in 13 Turkish Super Lig appearances for the Istanbul giants last season.
