The Frenchman is a name familiar to Tottenham, he was the sporting director of the North London based outfit back in 2005.
Recently elected club president Ali Koc was critical of Fenerbahce paying Tottenham a €5m signing on fee for the Janssen loan last season.
The Istanbul based outfit will refuse to pay a similar price this time around.
Going by the latest Fanatik report it would appear there is an agreement over a mutually agreeable fee this time around.
The striker did settle in well at Fenerbahce despite having his season disrupted by a toe injury which saw him miss several months.
The 24-year-old was forced to spend just over four months out with a toe injury at the start of December.
Janssen returned to action in April, scoring goals against Kasimpasa and Kardemir.
In total Janssen scored five goals and provided four assists in all competitions last season but made just 19 appearances due to injury.
