Crystal Palace are locked in a race with La Liga side Girona to sign Turkey international midfielder Ozan Tufan this summer.
The Eagles came close to signing Tufan on transfer deadline day at the tail end of January. However, Tufan ended up staying at Fenerbahce after the deal fell through in the final moments.
Unfortunately for Tufan, he was unable to break back into Aykut Kocaman’s Fenerbahce side and spent the remainder of the season with the reserves.
According to the Turkish outlet Gunes, Palace have maintained their interest in the box-to-box midfielder. Per the source, early talks have been held with the player’s agent Ahmet Bulut.

Fenerbahce signed Tufan for £6 million from Bursaspor back in 2015 but are prepared to let the 22-year-old leave for just £2.5 million this summer.
Tufan provided two assists and scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season.
The young midfielder has already amassed 39 caps for the Turkish national team.
