Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has expressed his delight following Germany’s win over Sweden.

Gundogan started the game on the bench but game on mid-way through the first half following an injury to Sebastian Rudy.

The midfielder playmaker helped Germany dominate the game from midfield and also provided defensive cover on Sweden’s counter-attacks.

Following the game, Gundogan took to Instagram to state: “Back to Vatutinki! Very glad about my 1st World Cup match and this win!!”
