Echo reporter Jonathan Pearce has opened up about the future of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
Pearce expects the forward to leave over the summer transfer window.
“Obviously, Firmino is the No 9 and as it stands he’s got Solanke, Ings and Brewster as back-up. Sturridge is set to leave and Klopp has a decision to make on Origi in pre-season,” Pearce said.

Sturridge has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to be offered a contract extension.
There have been reports that the striker wants to stay at Liverpool and fight for his place in the team but it is looking increasingly unlikely that the striker has a future at the club.
The Reds do however, want £15 million for the 29-year-old The Times.
Per the source, Fenerbahce and Sevilla have both expressed interest in the forward.
The high asking price could prove to be a problem if they hope on moving him on this summer.
Fenerbahce are keen on negotiating a lower transfer, a source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football.
Yellow Canaries sporting director Damien Comolli has made enquiries to Liverpool regarding Sturridge and urged his former club to reconsider the fee being demanded.
